EndeavorVR Founder and CEO Shares Insights with AR VR Accelerator Start-Ups
Sacramento, February 9, 2019 — The Capital Region AR VR Accelerator announced that EndeavorVR Founder/CEO Amy Peck has become a Venture Partner with the organization. Peck brings unique industry insights to the Accelerator as a highly-recognized and respected thought leader in Virtual and Augmented Reality. Amy was on hand this past week at the Accelerator site at the Allegiant Giving Center/Haney/Biz facility in Rocklin serving as both a guest Subject Matter Expect and as a mentor to the start-ups participating in the current cohort.
Given the extensive range of challenges and opportunities young tech companies constantly encounter as they start and launch their ventures, it is imperative that they have access to guidance from mentors and advisors who have experiences and expertise that can positively impact their growth trajectory. Amy was well-suited to share her perspectives and advice to the cohort companies as a Venture Partner with the Capital Region AR VR Accelerator.
Amy is the founder and CEO of EndeavorVR, a leading global VR/AR (XR) strategy & consulting firm. Amy regularly speaks globally on the future of XR. She has deep connections within the industry and works with Fortune 500 companies, digital media/production companies and tech startups on XR strategy, content, development, product and Go-to-Market strategies.
Among other things, Amy is a mentor at Draper U, Women in XR Fund, Korean Innovation Center and River Studios and is an active member of several Women in Tech & STEM Education organizations. Amy is a member of the VR/AR Association’s (VRARA) Digital Healthcare Committee and Co-Chairs the VRARA Enterprise Committee. She was first exposed to VR and more specifically, Second Live, when she produced music videos and commercials for some of the top directors and ad agencies.
Amy was one of the few producers who took projects from live action all the way through post-production and VFX. Her true passion for this technology emerged at Leap Motion where she launched the Enterprise division working with clients across every major vertical including healthcare, entertainment, retail, hospitality, education and government.
